County Treasurer's Office

The Treasurer is responsible for receiving all monies belonging to the county and keeping an accounting in a designated depository.

The office serves as the bank for the county government. The Treasurer is also responsible for disbursing all monies as directed by law and maintains records for all banking transactions.

The Treasurer is responsible for the custody and disbursement of all county funds and school district funds.

The Treasurer, therefore, receives county property tax collections, county sales tax, county turn back funds, grant funds, fees and fines from other county officials and departments and revenues from various other sources.
